Emir's entry into the venture world was catalyzed by the absence of a micro-mobility operator in Turkey, an observation that led to the inception of Marti in 2018. His leadership in assembling the founding team and steering through several fundraising initiatives was instrumental in Marti's evolution, culminating in its IPO on the NYSE. This milestone not only shaped the micro-mobility landscape but also fueled Emir's zeal for exploring new venture opportunities.
Emir's subsequent foray into angel investing yielded fruitful partnerships with companies like Blank Street, Main Street, and MealCo, setting the stage for the establishment of Pentas Ventures. As its Managing Partner, Emir directs the investment strategy and oversees its execution, demonstrating his acumen in identifying and nurturing potential.
In addition to his role at Pentas Ventures, Emir manages The Dereli Family Office, a significant player in real estate and renewable energy. The Office boasts prestigious real estate ventures, including the Surf Club Four Seasons Hotel &amp; Residences, Ft. Lauderdale Four Seasons Hotel &amp; Residence, Palm Beach Four Seasons Hotel, and the Seaway &amp; HillCrest Residences. Its commitment to sustainability is evidenced by its investments in developing 350 Megawatts of solar energy in Hungary.

Emir Dereli

Emir founded his first company Oprena, a VR/AR media studio at age 23. Oprena scaled to 50+ clients in less than 2 years with projects including Miami Design District, Institute of Contemporary Art LA and Perez Art Museum Miami.&nbsp;
In 2019, Emir joined NYC-based Reshape Ventures as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence where he spent most of his time on market research and conceptualizing various incubation projects within the commerce space.&nbsp;
In 2020, he joined the founding team at Blank Street, one of the fastest growing retail businesses in the US &amp; UK with $100M+ funding to date and 75 locations across New York, London, Boston, Washington DC and Manchester.&nbsp;
&nbsp;As of 2021, he is the Founding Partner of Pentas Ventures where he sourced investments into companies like Moment (acquired by Patreon), TYB, Karat, Chamberlain Coffee and HEAT (backed by LVMH).
Emir graduated from University of Miami, Herbert Business School and currently based in Los Angeles, CA. His work focuses on investing, supporting and operating next generation companies at the intersection of tech and commerce.

Victoria lives in Brooklyn, NY and is a creative director and entrepreneur with ten years of brand-building experience. Her work focuses on building mission positive brands that cultivate strong communities, celebrate life, and inspire others.
&zwj;Prior to founding CROSBY, Victoria was a scientist. She designed and developed a novel technology platform utilizing CRISPR, as a PhD candidate in Harris Wang&rsquo;s lab. Victoria holds a patent, and has published in many journals including Nature Neuroscience, Genome Biology and PLoS One.
Victoria graduated from Dartmouth College (B.A) and went to graduate school at Columbia University.

Victoria Stockman

Bobby was the founding CMO of Prizeo &amp; Represent, leading both to successful exits. At Prizeo, he helped celebrities such as Paul McCartney &amp; Justin Bieber raise over $50m for charity. Prizeo exited in 2015.&nbsp;
At Represent, Bobby helped build the world's preeminent celebrity merchandising platform. Working with talent such as Leo DiCaprio, Arnold Schwarenegger, Matthew McConaughey, &amp; Kobe Bryant, Represent generated over $250m in creator revenue. He helped lead Represent's two exits, totalling over $160m in deal value. After Represent's exit to Cameo, he served as its Chief Creative Officer.
Prior to investing with Pentas, Bobby was an active angel investor in companies such as 818 Tequila, Dave's Hot Chicken, &amp; Snapchat. He is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Bobby Maylack

Andrea is the CEO at CPGD, an industry recognized platform for investors and founders to discover emerging brands. Her newsletter about DTC trends is read by over 10,000 executives and brand builders.
Through CPGD Andrea acts as an Advisor to high growth brands to help them scale&mdash; like Buoy (electrolyte supplement backed by leading VCs as well as stars like NBA player Chris Paul). She is also a Venture Partner and Scout for several funds, leveraging her exclusive access to deal flow from CPGD&rsquo;s vast network.&nbsp;
Andrea attended the University of Chicago and has experience growing products at companies like Meta, Prose, and Walmart.com
